Fredericksburg, Texas real estate professional Melynn Williams was the only member of her family born in Texas… and that gives her bragging rights! She grew up scrappy since she has four brothers and no sisters, AND she was the first female born out of 18 births on her dad’s side. So you can be sure she knows how to hold her on when negotiating on behalf of her clients!
Melynn graduated from Baylor University in 1997 and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. After college she moved to Dallas and worked for over 15 years as a leasing manager for a national firm. In this position, she trained and managed sales teams, evaluated properties’ performance, and implemented marketing strategies for which she received numerous awards. She also consulted with a developer in Dallas regarding floor plan design, office layout and amenities that attract buyers. This position certainly helped her hone her natural eye for design and detail.
But Melynn’s favorite part of the job was spending time one on one with prospective clients. This passion for helping people led her into full-time real estate sales. She moved to Fredericksburg in 2014 and has been actively involved in selling real estate since 2015. She has served as the local realtor board’s TREPAC chair where she has been integral in fundraising and public involvement and enjoys volunteering with numerous local organizations. Her outgoing personality makes giving back to her community a joy!
She loves being outdoors, hiking (hiked 10 days on the Appalachian Trail), word games, architecture, and music. She is endlessly patient and kind and has an excellent sense of design… all traits that are critical to find in a great real estate agent. She is a proud aunt of five nephews and five nieces and is utterly in love with her hill country home of Fredericksburg, Texas!
